    PRODUCT OVERVIEW

    The BakBox is a collapsible cargo or toolbox that snaps onto the rail of any BakFlip tonneau cover. When it's installed and the cover is closed, nobody will even know that it's there. The BakBox flips out from the back wall of your truck to give you a full, secure tool chest and cargo management box. It disappears just as easily when you don't need it or simply need to use your full truck bed! The BakBox is 11 inches deep and 10 inches wide and up to 65 inches long, giving you a very generous size box behind your cab and can withstand up to 400lbs of weight, allowing you to store heavy tools or objects. The BakBox will keep all contents safe and dry when your BakFlip tonneau cover is closed. Carry tools, groceries, clothes, books, you name it, the BakBox will be there when you need it! The shifting tray allows management of small objects that can easily be slid out of the way or shifted from side to side of your way. Add ice and it becomes one incredible party chest!     Great quality product as the fact I get access to the full bed is great. Not to mention looks great on the truck.

    1.0 box was too short

    box was 4 inches shorter than the distance between the hangar brackets. It cannot be installed. I concur with the poor quality paint that scratches easily. Called factory and they confirmed that i ordered the correct box.

    1.0 300 bucks for this joke of a “ box “

    I bought this box with the Bakflip cover for my 2019 Ram 1500 thinking it should just bolt right on and line up since i stuck with the same manufacturer ... BOY was I wrong. The “hardware” they send with this is a JOKE ... the brackets are FLIMSY as heck and the spot welds that hold them together don’t hold. If you have a ram 1500 the box is too long by about 1.5 inches which I only discovered after i followed the directions and trying to install this awful product. By the time i was done the brackets were bent and scratched and looked like they are 5 years old now. I attempted this install twice to be sure it wasn’t me ... I assure you it was not. There is no way I can return this joke of a product due to the scratched and bent brackets so I am out 300 bucks for some plastic covered foam planks and subpar aluminum brackets. Think 3 times before you buy this product.

    5.0 Great for lighter duty tools.

    Really easy to install and a great feature. I like how it folds up for more space. Decent tray organizers also.

    Q: Are parts available. My toolbox broke the support lip on the right side. Looking at it the right side would have to be replaced. Otherwise I will try to make a repair. Answer this question
