good quality product and great service if anything is in question, easiest cage I've put in so far!
Shut up on a pallet that looks like it's been sitting in for a warehouse for a long time. It was missing a few tubes and a few gussets. I had a call multiple people to get it sorted out
Poison Spyder TJ Cage - Very happy with build and finish. Well done / welds are great. Lacking in seatbelt area - The video and description mentioned availability of Seatbelt kit (discontinued by PoisonSpyder) THe basis for the cage is great - Highly recommend.
Great cage for factory soft tops and hard tops. I had to heavily modify the rear C pillar section to fit a frameless aftermarket top. Also on the A-pillar floor mounts I had to add shims. The windshield channel holes on the passenger side had to enlarged due to being off about a 1/4" in height. Why they don't follow the factory C-pillar lines is beyond me. Seems like all the serious wheelers who need cages also run aftermarket tops...
It does not fit a unlimited Lj like the website says
This cage was advertised to fit my 79 CJ-7. It technically fits, but it blocked the glove compartment and got in the way when I pushed the clutch in. I called Poison Spyder to see if I had gotten the wrong crossbars. They said it fits in the tub, so they didn't care about the rest ofthe fit. I had it too long to return it, so i was stuck. I had to buy tube and insert peices to add length in the cross bars at the A pillers, and bend the sides of the cage to make it fit properly. It looks great, but all the work and the attitude from the company made me not want to buy another Poison spider product.
Q: will my factory soft top work with this cage? Answer this question
A: Yes, but you'll have to drill and tap the holes for the brackets, and drill holes for the door surrounds, everything is clearly pre marked, it's easy. My door surrounds don't fit perfectly on the new cage but it's close enough.

Q: Does this include the behind-the-seat harness bar? Answer this question
A: Yes. The kit includes the behind the seat harness bar. BUT it is NOT welded in so that you can line up and weld at your custom alignment or leave it out if you are running 3-point belts and want access to the back seat.

Q: Does this cage come with the harness bar, on PSC website it shows that it does. Answer this question
A: YEs it came with the harness bar. Initially looked to weld in prior to install (cleaner finish weld) but need to make sure the b pillars can be adjusted. So will weld once cage is installed.
Answered by JCJeep1 from New jersey on 08/18/2021
A: Yes it does. It just comes unwelded so you can adjust it to wherever fits best for you.
