Degree shims are constructed of alloy aluminum designed to help align driveline angles when lighted springs are used.
Easy to install, corrected the driveshaft angle after installing new springs
Buy It Dont Ever Need, So Underrated Cant knot slide
Perfect to do the job. Easily narrowed to fit my skinny springs on my '33 Chevy
Simple easy item to use, but the overall thickness of the shim is too thick to allow the leaf spring alignment pin to engage the axle, so I felt uneasy about installing it. I purchased steel ones that are bolt on for a little more.
Top quality very very satisfying getting the part I thought I bought.
Q: I need a set of 2" wide 7° steel shims. Do you have any in that dimension? Answer this question
A: I bought 6 degree aluminum shims which are thicker than the steel shims I've used in the past and shaved them down on a grinder. They are very close to 7 now.

Q: Can you use these shims on a 2020 Silverado? Also, the truck originally did not come with a shim. Are the factory bolts long enough to compensate for shim thickness? Answer this question
A: You will need to look at the top of the center pin to see if there is .5-.75 thread sticking out past the nut. If so, the original center pin could be used. If pin is not long enough or if has become stretched, you will need to replace. You will to measure and order the correct diameter center pin.
