installed on a short arm XJ and they are a little stiffer than what I hoped for. The old springs were 3 1/2" RE and were much softer and better ride. I was hoping for similar ride but just more height
Overall I like the Rubicon Express Springs I gave a really stable ride with less roll,.. However... The 2 1/2 inch is more like 2 inch or less. I know this because I was running the 2 inch Terra Junk lift blocks to see what lift I wanted and it sets slightly lower now.. 2013 4 door
After installing these springs on my 4 door jku my jeep ended up being 6" over stock. I'm not talking about 6" an old worn out suspension either I'm talking the factory measurements jeep gives out measuring from the coil bucket to the axle side spring perch. These gave my jeep 6" when I bought them because I wanted 4.5" sorely disappointed in Rubicon Express as they used to be a leader in quality springs giving you the exact height you ordered.
Only been on a week so i havent hit any trails with them yet but easy install. Ride a lot better in my opinion then stock especially nice to be rid of the puck lift definitely stiffer which so far i like. Definitely really happy with these especially for the price
Q: can you re-powder coat the coil springs for different colors Answer this question
