A: It should fit your pickup no problem. This version is for standard box not the long box. Fuel level will read correctly. If you want distance to empty to show correctly you'll need to have the installer select the larger fuel tank size in their computer (cost was about $125 if I remember correctly). There were no extra parts required to install.

A: The dealer can reset the fuel tank capacity from 26 to 60 so your miles to empty is correct. You fuel gauge will read correctly regardless.

However, I am not certain whether the same Titan fuel tank would serve a gas fueled Nissan Titan as a diesel engine, since I don't know if the Titan diesel tank incorporates the tank for the DEF that is required with diesel but not with gas. I think that Titan would be a resource to answer that question.

A: The trucks stock sending unit is removed from the stock tank and mounted into the TITAN tank. They are a direct fit, there are no modifications needed. With use of the stock sending unit, the trucks analog fuel gauge will read correct and accurate with the TITAN tank.
